Staff Product Designer & Manager

I've had the privilege of spending over 5 years at Meta Reality Labs as a product designer and manager, driving the development of confidential cutting-edge AR wearable glasses experiences across multiple teams

  • • Led cross-functional teams to uncover early user value in AR experiences, creating new frameworks, prototyping, rapid weekly UXR testing, and collaborating closely with optical research scientists to bring innovative ideas to life. This work helped develop the Meta product roadmap and hardware decisions based on experience impact.
    • Led massive effort with PD & ID teams to map spectrum of possible products & hardware configs across experiences to help identify GTM products.

  • • Created the AR Glasses Design System, spearheading its creation and implementation across multiple interaction, experience, engineering and prototyping teams to ensure a unified and seamless user experience.

    • Led program wide weekly design crits, and created org level monthly design lightning syncs, connecting over 15 design teams across multiple products, fostering collaboration.

    •Drove AR specific accessibility investigations with UXR for hit target sizing, color, and typography that directly influenced our system.

  • • Managed two teams of designers and prototypers responsible for building the core system interfaces and discovery experiences for AR Glasses. Successfully advocated for it across the organization. laying the foundation for intuitive and immersive experiences.

  • • Led the effort to establish a cohesive, org-wide design system & metaphor, unifying our portfolio of products, including Ray-ban Meta Smart Glasses, AR Glasses, & Meta View App.

  • • Led a team of product designers and Unity prototypers, driving the design and development of innovative products and features

    • Managed a large pool of contracted designers and prototypers, ensuring effective resource allocation and project delivery

    •Played a key role in interviewing and recruiting top design talent, contributing to the growth and development of the design team

    • Developed and implemented design processes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality across products and features
